Sirini Withana

Policy Analyst. Special subjects: EU developments, environmental governance.
Sirini joined the IEEP London office in August 2007. She has a Masters degree in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a first degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town. Before joining the Institute, she worked for the Environment Agency for England and Wales as part of their EU and International Relations team and in the office of the Chief Executive. Sirini works on strategic and cross-cutting issues relating to the EU’s policy processes and structures. She is also involved in the Institute’s EU briefing and advisory services.
